This is the coloured sketch which inspired the painting called Transposition.
Transposition
This painting is derived from a coloured sketch of a nude, a girl called Emma. The colours are distilled and simplified into a square creating a meditative image.

Yellow field

Still life with orange
This is a transposition of the colours found in a still life with fruit and objects. I have added paraffin wax to the surface to make the colours shimmer through.
